This movie overstates the obvious. Several changes occur which are unfounded (little character development here). Some metaphors which are left underdeveloped (the ORPHAN seal). And the little boy stays with the step father for some unstated reason (Was he now the man of the house?).
A bit sappy. But the step mother is lovely and makes the movie! And the scenery is breath-taking! Nice movie :).
