Well, I have to revise my Top 10 of the year! "A Separation" is a brutally sincere and morally complex family drama with a tight script that works like a thriller. This portrait of the rifts caused by class, gender, age, religion and secrets & lies will keep you at the edge of your seat until its final moments.
Plus, it's beautifully photographed and superbly acted. Very deserving of the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film!
