Review of A Separation (2011) by Blue N — 17 Mar 2012
What I liked very much is the sense of reality you feel in the performances, allthough it did not leave a very deel impact on me I liked the characters and the way they perform, also the way the story unfolds seems like it could happen next door.
I did see rundskop as well and beeing a fellow oscar contender rundskop/bullhead left a deeper impact on me.having said that, seperation is a pretty good movie with solid performances but somehow did not leave an unforgettable impact on me.
Maby the performance of the husband of the woman that lost her baby,he was brilliant, frustrated and irrational, just the way a human would react, that was unforgettable, and I must admit that alzheimer father did his part also brilliant, man did I feel for the poor man!!
