Impressive and drepressive work from director Asghar Farhadi. Dare I say A Separation is one of the finest films of the last 5 years. The characters are as real as you and me. The humanity inside them is heart-breaking and their misery defines 90% of humankind.
The plot twists are flawless and the bitterness does not jump reality. Beautifully acted and clinically written, A Separation is a compelling drama about ordinary morality and values.
