Review of A Scandal in Paris (1946) by Lauren H — 07 Aug 2009
A classic old fashioned melodrama by Douglas Sirk about the fictionalized life of Eugène François Vidocq, the father of modern criminology. George Sanders plays Vidocq with a thick coating of upper crust British suaveness; confident, debonair, sophistication etc.
