A truly romantic love story. The beauty of the images is only matched by the delicate and porcelain-like beauty of Helena Bonham Carter. What's most surprising about this charming and touching story is how remarkably funny it all is.
Daniel Day-Lewis is especially priceless. Ultimately, Merchant and Ivory's name became immortalized with the success of this picture. A brilliant teaming-up to say the least.
