Review of A Room for Romeo Brass (1999) by Dan S — 10 Dec 2007
Amazing stuff! Ken Loach meets Mike Leigh, but this is better than either. The plot and acting are a real breath of fresh air, and very believable. Paddy Considine especially is INCREDIBLE. The two 12-year old boys are also wonderful.
This feels like the best film I've seen in the last year or more.
