Issues with fathers seem to be a recurring theme in Shane Meadows' films. The whole time, I didn't know whether to be amused or creeped out, which is a tribute to Paddy Considine's incredible acting.
He kept me guessing as much as he did Romeo. Needless to say, Meadows is a genius.
