Review of A Room for Romeo Brass (1999) by Keith L — 12 Apr 2008
Another gem from Shane Meadows.
A Room For Romeo Brass is a fun but deeply disturbing movie about the local village idiot that everyone knows and is shit scared of, the sort of guy who doesn't give a toss about anything and would quite happily kick ya' head in for looking at them.
As you may have seen, Shane uses the same actor's affair bit in his movies and I'm sure you'll notice some faces from other classics like Dead Man's Shoes and This Is England.
And as usual they make this an enjoyable experience and takes pride of place amongst the Shane Meadow's hall of fame.
