Review of A River Runs Through It (1992) by Tammy A — 10 Apr 2009
It is not just a story about fishing or family matters. It is mainly a life lesson! Redford directed this movie based on Norman McLean's autobiography and it turned it to a masterpiece! Certainly, the book and the movie are quite different as it always happens, but each one has its merits The movie describes a life lived.
Life goes on slowly, like the movie shows, and life is lived moment by moment. And the story goes towards an emotional narrative and the landscaping is breathtaking! If you enjoy watching movies with a great plot, beautiful scenery, extraordinary acting and amazing cinematography, this would be the one to choose!
