Review of A Quiet Place Part II (2021) by Franzhcritic — 13 Jun 2021

I can honestly say that this movie kept me on edge throughout, much like the first one did. It's the first movie I've seen in theaters since the pandemic first began, and I have to say, I've started out with a bang.

John Krasinski continues the main themes about what we must endure for the people we love, how family sticks together and looks out for one another in the worst of times. His atmosphere is tense and you're always on the border of being anxious and being terrified.

And enough can't be said about the children's acting, who are incredibly mature and effective in encapsulate how grave the stakes are in an apocalyptic world inhabited by murderous, near-indestructible aliens.

Well done, Halpert. Well done.
