A disappointment. A great premise - only staying silent will save you - is squandered on a derivative plot that imitates every scary sequence you've ever seen in movies like Signs, Cloverfield, Jurassic Park and War of the Worlds.
Such a pity. The score (overused) is generic, the storyline almost soporific. A wasted opportunity.
