Review of A Quiet Place (2018) by Xjlxmchammer — 07 Apr 2018

One of the best "horror" movies out there. I don't think it's a true horror movie, but rather a thriller with some horror elements. The movie thrives on keeping you on the edge of your seat. Unlike other movies, it feels like this movie has no "safe" place. Think of movies like paranormal activity, where during daytime, the protagonist/casts are safe from the horrors at night. Think of other movies with a base of operations where the heroes feel safe. This movies doesn't have that. Without going into spoilers, there is never a moment where the characters feel safe; the enemy is always there.

Love the movie. I definitely recommend it.
