Review of A Quiet Place (2016) by David P — 17 May 2018
A family friendly Sci-fi thriller. Edge of your seat suspense and edge of tears sentimentality. Believeable acting with cool CG.I dislike the general staleness and predictability of movies, so I rarely choose to see movies esp in theatres.
I was happily encouraged that this understated, nuanced, beautiful and scary as heck film got the hype it deserved. John put his heart into directing A Quiet Place. An unconventional genre for the "funny guy" yet a phenomenal directorial debut.
Im excited to see what he directs next. Go. Watch.
