Review of A Quiet Place (2016) by Cooper R — 16 May 2018

I am a huge fan of both John Krasinski and Emily Blunt. So, when I heard about this film coming out, I was beyond excited to go to the theaters and experienced this movie. Now, I can confidently say, I was beyond satisfied.

In recent years, we have theaters have been plagued with bad horror movies with the same tropes and predictability over-and-over again. 'A Quiet Place' fully delivers in the sense that it will keep you gripping your seats until the very end of the movie.

While at times I feel as though there were some plot holes that did not exactly add up, the tremendous action, suspense and general horror make up for it. It's entertaining, scary and surprisingly heart-felt.

This movie introduces us to the idea that in 2018, we can still experience an innovative horror film.
