Review of A Quiet Place (2016) by Kelley Y — 11 Jun 2018

THIS was a horror movie done right. I'll admit, I'm ridiculously picky about my horror films, and at first, when I saw the bug-like monsters, I groaned because I thought it would be utterly ridiculous.

But what could have easily been cheesy and over the top ended up being unsettling and high-stakes. The entire premise of the plot was unique in and of itself, the acting was superb, and there was a deep family message nestled in there, too.
