Review of Deadpool 2 (2018) by Kelley Y — 11 Jun 2018
Holy wow. I loved the first Deadpool. Hands down. I was nervous about this one because sequels are rarely as good as the original, and the cast expanded significantly. But this movie was fantastic. The perfect mix of humor, drama (yes, proof that Ryan Reynolds is an amazing actor outside of comedy), and a cast that blended so seamlessly together.
(Give me a Domino movie!!) I love how this is a franchise that pokes fun at itself and others in its genre. I don't know if we're getting another Deadpool solo movie, but I know we're getting something, so I look forward to it.
