Review of A Quiet Place (2016) by Darren C — 13 Jun 2018
(SPOILER!) Based on a fantastic premise, the necessity of silence, I found it so interesting how the plot's centrality was the daughter's ear piece. Even though we've seen a million monster thrillers, and the monsters here sorta copycat Stranger Things creature, A Quiet Place offers a unique spin on just about everything.
Most of all, I thought it had heart as well. And, John did a great job at creating great performances with very little dialogue, in fact, the sign language intensified the tone. Overall, highly recommend!
