Review of A Quiet Place (2016) by Josh D — 01 Jan 2019
A Quiet Place is a pretty good flick. Emily Blunt probably deserved an Oscar merely for showing us how difficult childbirth would be if you weren't allowed to make a sound.
Krasinski, in my opinion, has his breakout performance and now can be viewed as more than just the other half of "Jim and Pam" from the office. His quiet strength, passion, and inner sadness throughout the movie jumps off the screen.
I normally am not a huge fan of the "scary monster" kind of movie, but this one works.
