This is such a British film, with a quintessentially British humour and British attitude towards the war. At times, the Britishness can becoe a bit overwhelming even for a native such as myself; that aside, the film boasts a stellar cast and once it gets going the community spirit becomes quite, quite infectious.
An often overlooked slice of British (pork) pie.
