This is Altman at his best. The characters and their conversations are interesting, and he even managed to pull a decent performane out of Lindsey Lohan. I would actually say this is the last time I saw her as an actress.
The movie can easily be described and dismissed as a nice quiet picture, but it is much more to fans of a good story. The standout song is done by Woody Harrelson and John C Rielly. Give it a try.
