I totally agree with Jed P on this one. an amazing performance by costner, with a suprisingly unfaultering performance from a male child actor (which is rarely seen). Eastwood has a fitting role, along with a womanizing FBI agent.
The hunt for costner and the child takes you on a journey of hoy an adult(costner) who had no childhood grew up to be a criminal is going to make sure his "hostage" does not miss out on the childhood he has left.
