Not so much an under-rated film, but one almost forgot about.
Directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Kevin Costner.
A kidnapped boy strikes up a friendship with his captor, an escaped convict (Costner) on the run from the law.
Its not really a film about crime, dispite the premise. Its about a father/son bond build between to strangers while on an almighty roadtrip.
