Review of A Perfect Murder (1998) by Annelies S — 27 Sep 2009
I like the Hitchcock adaptation better than this modern movie. Dial M for Murder happened primarily in one room, the wife was not suspecting anything until the very last moment and the husband was colder and arrested while admitting that he couldn't commit the perfect murder. Why couldn't the script writer stick to the play and just modernize it a bit?
I remember watching A perfect Murder in theatre and then I thought it was a great thriller but at that time I hadn't watched the Hitchcock version. This film can not beat the original film version.
