A Perfect Murder falls to pieces under scrutiny. Plot holes are easily spotted and ignored. Regardless, it's a fine and engrossing picture. Enjoy it like a big dumb thriller and ignore its aspirations to higher intelligence.
It's obviously trying to be similar to Fatal Attraction, and even ends up having a ridiculous showdown like that film did.
