Review of À Nous la Liberté (1931) by Charles P — 13 Apr 2011
René Clair's A Nous la Liberté is a sweet and simply pure slapstick entertainment that works on a lagre scale. The cinematography I amazing, it's a industrial satire with all the amazing machines and all the fuzz of following them.
This was five years before Charlie Chaplin's Mordern Times, it deals with the same theme.
