Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street: The Dream Child (1989) by Samuel M — 25 Feb 2011
The fifth installment on the popular horror franchise is a surprisingly creepy and disturbing movie. The screenplay is pedestrian and Krueger's jokes play against the essence of the plot, but director Stephen Hopkins brings rhythym and even shows some glimpses of style.
It's not entertaining, but effective.
