Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988) by Robert A — 30 Aug 2010
If Freddy was ever scary, he's now more of a comic super hero killer. In this film he becomes more of an anti-hero killing off the teens one by one. 3 of the characters that were in #3 come back in this one, only to be killed off quickly.
Oh botha. lol.. Luckily Freddy becomes more comical in this version. It makes it a guilty pleasure, but not as good as the first or third in the series. The dream killings in this one do get pretty imaginative, I do give this one that much.
The characters aren't all bad, but there have been better ones. This is one of the mediocre Elm Street films.
