Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988) by Jeff B — 25 Jul 2011
Such a campy addition to the Elm Street series, like the 2nd film, it's extremely 80s with an extremely 80s soundtrack. The hair is big, the clothes are crazy, and there are hilarious montages. I think the funniest part of the film is the way we discover what "the Dream Master" is, somehow she takes over the traits of her friends who die.
The scene where she suits up for the final showdown with Freddy is just priceless. Yeah, this is pretty bad, but like the second film, it's just so bad it's good, I couldn't help but be entertained.
