Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988) by David S — 06 Aug 2011
Although this installment has some of the most creative death scenes, it lacks in regards to everything that makes a movie what it should be. It is a chaotic mash-up of many ideas, characters, and plots that have been loosely put together with the most feeble of story-telling.
Besides the special effects and the creativeness, this movie is far below standards in regards to character development and story-telling; two essential tools in a good horror movie.
