Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988) by Austin S — 07 Mar 2012
For me out of all the elm street films part 4 has to be my faveorite. Some of the main resions I really liked and enjoyed this film is mainly because it felt like the nightmares were nightmares. Not just the fact that they felt like they were nightmares they also had some very very cool ideas fir the nightmares in this film as well and the first 2 I felt really lacked that now as for the 3rd I think it was pretty creative with its nightmares but I this the 4th beat it.
Oh yea another thing I really liked was the ending it was very well done and just looked awesome very climactic indeed. As for the charictors well I liked them much more than in some of the ones in the previous films but Alice I deffinatly think is the best charictor in the howl series.
To be honised I accully liked her much more than Nancy in the original. Now I'm not shure I mentioned this but in the original film I really didn't like Nancy I thought she was very annoying and I just wasn't interested in her unlike Alice.
I think to be honised I think this film should of been the original just because it was much more of a fun ride with much more creativeness and even more deaths. But overall this film was my personal faveorite out of the howl series and I think part 3 should of been this films sequel.
But that's what I thought about part 4 deffinatly worth the watch.
