A Nightmare On Elm Street 4 The Dream Master has some impressive visual effects, coming from a time before CGI, but besides that this movie doesn't have much going for it. With the only characters you care about being returning characters from Dream Warriors, and a story that's isn't very interesting, The Dream Master feels like nothing more than a cash in on the success of the previous movies in the series, instead of being a quality sequel that the fans of the series deserve.
Now maybe if I was a bigger fan of the series, I may of enjoyed this movie more, but in my opinion The Dream Master is one many examples that some movie franchises should of quit while they were ahead.
