Director Renny Harlin decided to kill off the entire Dream Warriors ensemble in the first 15 minutes or so..bad idea. All the interesting characters are gone and out come annoying new ones, without a single identifiable trait to be seen.
Gets credit for some an awesome sound track, a somewhat darker Freddy (still a joke), and the only interesting character in its lead Alice.
