Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988) by Chris R — 28 Jul 2009
Although never rising above Dream Warriors, The Dream Master still works as a successful sequel. Although the acting is pretty silly and Freddy is starting to lose his dark nature, the enviroment in which he stalks still retains some of that nature (the church at the end is very gothic and I loved it).
Renny Harlin made a great Freddy film and its flaws can be easily forgiven with the right mindset.
