Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987) by Christophe C — 05 Apr 2010
The first one was fantastic, the second one wasn't, and this one is right dead on as well. It doesn't quite reach up to the original, but it comes close. Robert Englund was superb as always this time out, and this time it really showed.
While the effects stole the show in the second one, it's the characters that steal this show, and the same can be said for the first one: it was about the characters, not the effects, and that's what makes this nightmare better than the last.
