Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987) by Nicole H — 13 Jun 2010
While the second installment from the Nightmare series is probably one of the most boring sequels in the history of horror movies, Dream Warriors develops the story and Freddy's legend way better than its predecessor.
A nice plot, quite original despite the common setting of the hospital/asylum and very strong characters. Having said that Dream Warriors lacks a real identity. It's somewhere in-between being a scary and gory horror flick and a teenage fantasy adventure, both of these movies are great but trying to clash them together was a risky attempt and sometimes you can see them not blending not well as they should.
