Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987) by Alex P — 22 Jun 2012
A vast improvement from the terrible Freddy's Revenge. A fantastic script penned by Wes Craven alongside Chuck Russell (who also directed) and the talented Frank Darabont, a figure in cinema we'd see in the directors chair on such modern classics such as Shawshank Redemption and The Green Mile.
The movie manages to ignore the events of number 2 and continue to develop the concepts first seen in the originals. The movie also laid the foundation of how the sequels would go about dream sequences and the varied death sequences within.
