Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010) by Omar N — 15 Mar 2012

Well this is my last elm street review and I have to say it started at 3 stars and well I think it now will have to end at 3 stars. So overall there were some things I liked much more about this remake compared to the original. As for my faveorite thing about this movie it would deffinatly have to be the nightmares I really loved them in this film mainly because they were very creative in the way they looked but there was a downfall to most of them and the downfall would have to be the fact that every nightmare well just about everyone had to have a jump scare. One thing I also liked about the remake compared to the original is Freddy mainly because he's much more serious than is the original series. But overall I like both Freddy's just because they are both two very different sides to Freddy and I really liked how they did that. Even the makeup for the new Freddy wasn't bad it looked well like it should have looked like he was a burn victim. But some other things I didn't like about this film were the fact that it was way too simalar to the original just about the same amount of people die, the only thing that they really changed was Freddy's resion for getting killed and I thought it was pretty cool just because it was something different. But in the end not a bad movie but deffinatly.

Could have been better.
