Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010) by Adam C — 06 Dec 2012
This movie is just not the greatest thing to ever witness. It's poorly done and the storyline just stinks as a skunk's behind. It's one of the worse remakes that I've ever seen. I couldn't help but feel like that they KILLED the main villian and made him into an annoying character that you beg for him to shut up and die.
Robert Englung is by far the REAL Freddy Krueger. This new Freddy Krueger is by far the most annoying and non scary thing to ever come to exist.Everything about this movie is just a waste of time. When you get to certain scenes from the 1984 classic, they found ways to just ruin them.
You see the main villian WAY too much and it's like in very scene, you see Freddy. WE GET IT!! He's the main villian but do we have to see him so many times in every scene of the movie? His face doesn't look burned at all, he looked more melted and looked kind of gay.
In the classic one, he was a child killer. In this one, they made him into some sort of a janitor at a pre school where he did something messed up to the kids. That's not Freddy! If you want my advice, I would stick with the 1984 classic with Robert Englung.
Bottom line, this movie just sucks so bad that you'll have nightmares of how bad it is. I kid you not.
