Absolute shit, the only improvement was the FX which is sad seeing as they weren't even top notch for our day of age compared to the orignals FX and the year it was made. I want my ten dollars back.
This movie relied too heavily on the pedophile factor of Freddie that it killed it, in fact it even went as far as to SHOW him when he was alive. What a waste of time. The original was much better and the unearthing of the underlying subplots really took a toll in this version.
Less, certainly is more. Honestly the only nightmare here is this excuse for a movie.
