With a great Freddie, a better than average horror script, and some good effects, A Nightmare on Elm Street is not a bad horror remake. Unfortunately, the tiring system, aka jump scares, some bad supporting cast and a predictable ending do hurt it from being the next Nightmare for you when you go to bed.
