Review of A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010) by Chrisg — 03 May 2010

I am a fan of the series. I had high hopes that this would reinvigorate the franchise and give a new generation a Freddy to be scared of. Boy was I wrong, jackie jo whatever his name is just used his Rorschach voice from watchmen and his make up effects left him looking more like voldemort than Freddy.

The film as a whole seemed thrown together and rushed to production with little care for character development or good directing. Wes Cravens was the better version, when compared to this half hearted attempt to recapture the horror of dreams and a man with a claw.
