With a more sinister look toward Freddy, A Nightmare on Elm Street isn't as good as the original but is a much better remake then other recent slasher remake (Especally Rob Zombie's Halloween).
Even negative reviews can't deny Jackie Earle Haley as being as good of a Freddy as Robert Englund was.
