Many consider it a horror classic and I really did enjoy the movie. The concept of Freddy Krueger killing people through their dreams is an interesting one which made the storyline of A Nightmare on Elm Street a good movie storywise.
All the death scenes in the movie looked good and there were actually a couple scenes that had my heart racing. Acting was subpar. But of course you can predict that for a movie like this. I would like to say that Robert Englund pulled off Freddy Krueger real well and should be commended for it.
