A fun horror movie that doesn't take itself too seriously like many of the garbage the horror genre produces these days. The score is incredible, the sound is really exquisite in detail, and the make up is great.
Wes Craven really does a remarkable job as director and writer making a truly original piece that is missing from most horror movie these days. The phrase "they don't make em like they used to", this is one of those movies.
I thought that as I am more grown up that maybe these older horror movies wouldn't be too terrifying to grasp but I admit, I jumped many many times and was genially scared throughout. One of the best horror movies I have seen.
