Review of A Night to Remember (1958) by Emerson J — 10 Jun 2008
I was really surprised by this movie. I have never been into the whole Titanic thing but this movie is really well done and quite engaging. A think it does a fine job of capturing the full range of emotions that were experienced on that ship that fateful night.
Not only does it provide a reasonably accurate account of the events of that night it also provides an interesting mediation on human attempts to capture of the world and on our assurance in our technology.
