Review of A Night to Remember (1958) by James R — 27 Sep 2008
A chillingly authentic re-creation of the sinking of Titanic, which concentrates on telling the story of the sinking without really delving into any romantic plot or family affair. If you watched Titanic (1997) but felt that the love story distracted you from the re-creation of the tragedy then you will find that this film is a thrilling re-inactment.
With all the historical real life characters played exceptionally and some impressive special effects this film has a definate air of authenticty. Highly recommended.
