Review of A Night at the Opera (1935) by Mark W — 28 Jul 2007
Their first without Zeppo is among their best, but it doesn't reach the craziness of their Paramount movies. MGM wedged them into an actual plot with romantic leads and LOTS of songs.
But nevermind that, this has some of their best bits, like the Party Of The Second Part and the (slightly over-rated, imho) State Room scene.
