Review of A Night at the Opera (1935) by Dan B — 03 Jan 2010
The first of the brothersâ?? films at MGM, and perhaps their last truly great one, marred only by the unnecessary romantic subplot with the abundantly toothsome Allan Jones. Best remembered for the stateroom scene and the sanity clause, though there are pearls scattered throughout and viewing it should probably be mandatory.
