This is truly a timeless classic that really demonstrates the glorious beauty there is to the Marx Brothers once they're allowed to inflict their complete and utter chaos on everyone around them. I'm not gonna lie, I've always loved the Marx Brothers and always will.

Their seamless methods of combining witty repartee and ridiculously atrocious puns with full-on slapstick is effortless. Honestly, my favorite as always has to be Groucho and his constant ability to mercilessly ridicule everyone directly to their face, many times without them even knowing it.

However, there's no denying the utter brilliance of Harpo's onslaught of insanity and Chico's scheming absurdities. I can understand why someone might not completely enjoy their comedy as in many ways it's pretty broad, but what I love about them most is how they were somehow able to blend really intelligent comedy with really basic physical comedy.

The only problems with this movie, like most of their movies, are the constant lulls of horribly unnecessary musical numbers. They're always the parts I've found least enjoyable and more annoying than anything else.

Overall though it's a testament to the brothers' abilities and, for some, is classic comedy right up there in stature with Laurel and Hardy.
